Kanojo Okarishimasu 28 Summary & Translation was done by BakaData.com
The whole chapter covers Ruka’s past and the reason why she loves Kazuya so much.
9 year old Ruka explains that she has an illness that prevents her from getting excited. The term that is used is “DokiDoki” but this word doesn’t really have a direct translation, so mainly understand her condition as something that prevents her from getting excited. She isn’t allowed to have excessive physical activity, or even play games too much; otherwise, she will collapse. As her mother takes away her gaming device to stop her from getting excited and collapse, she cries and says that she too wants to have the feeling of getting excited.
She grows up with no particular problem. But one day she hangs out with her friends at an amusement park. While her two friends are excited and enjoy their time, Ruka isn’t able to share the same experience. Ruka: “It’s almost like I am a Robot…”
She hears a conversation in her classroom where a girl talks that she kissed her boyfriend and how exciting that was for her. She seems to be interested in the concept of love, and finds out about “Rental Girlfriends”.
She’s going on a date with her client, but they are confronted by random thugs, one of the guys asks her client how he got such a cute girlfriend. The client answers: “She isn’t my girlfriend! We’re complete strangers!” She goes on a date with other clients, testing her BPM, and she feels silly for believing that there is any real love in this business. She’s thinking to quit her job.
When Kazuya bowed down to the ground, saying that Mizuhara is the best girlfriend, she’s confused how anyone could get this serious to his rental girlfriend. She checks her BPM and it’s 79; she starts to cry and says that she isn’t a Robot.
Her life or condition hasn't changed much, except when it comes to the relationship with Kazuya. Ruka texts Kazuya “Good morning” and he replies with “Good morning” as well. She laughs and says she’s looking forward for more exciting moments.
